How we work

Process, communication, timezones, and IP ownership — the practical detail that makes a cross-border engagement work.

Our process

  1. 01

    Discovery

We map your current workflows, data, and constraints. Output: a scoped proposal and architecture sketch, not a generic SOW template.

  2. 02

    Design & architecture

Data model, service boundaries, and UI direction reviewed with your team before a build sprint starts.

  3. 03

    Build in two-week sprints

Working software delivered every sprint, with a demo and the chance to redirect scope early.

  4. 04

    Launch & harden

Load testing, monitoring, and documentation so the system is operable on day one in production.

  5. 05

    Support & iterate

Post-launch support and an ongoing roadmap, whether that's a maintenance retainer or a dedicated team.

Communication cadence

Daily async updates

A written standup in your tool of choice — Slack, Linear, or email — so nothing waits a full day for a status check.

Weekly live sync

A video call covering progress, blockers, and upcoming decisions, scheduled inside your working hours.

Sprint demos

Working software shown at the end of every two-week sprint, not described in a status report.

Direct access to engineers

You talk to the people building the software, not only an account manager relaying messages.

Timezone overlap

We schedule core hours to overlap with our clients’ primary markets.

RegionOverlap
US East / Canada4–5 hours of core-hours overlap, daily live sync available
US West2–3 hours of core-hours overlap, plus async handoff
UK / EU5–6 hours of core-hours overlap
AustraliaEarly-morning core-hours overlap, plus structured async handoff
UAE / Saudi Arabia4–5 hours of core-hours overlap

IP ownership & legal

Full IP transfer

All code, designs, and documentation transfer to you in full on payment. No licensing lock-in, no shared ownership.

Mutual NDA as standard

A mutual NDA is signed before any discovery call that involves proprietary business detail — available on request before you share anything.

Data Processing Agreement

A DPA template is available for clients subject to GDPR or other data-protection regimes (REQ-GDPR-5).

Source access throughout

You have access to the working repository from day one of the build — not only at final handover.
