GeekFolks

Privacy policy

Draft — pending legal review before launch (SRS AC-18). Last updated: this build.

What we collect

When you submit a form on this site (project enquiry, demo request, or newsletter signup), we collect the information you provide: name, work email, company, country, and any project details you share. We also record standard technical data (IP address, browser type) for security and spam prevention.

Lawful basis

We process enquiry and demo request data on the basis of legitimate interest — responding to a request you initiated. Newsletter subscriptions rely on your explicit, double opt-in consent.

Retention

Lead records (enquiries, demo requests) are retained for as long as needed to respond to your request and maintain a sales record, subject to a documented retention schedule (REQ-GDPR-6). You may request deletion at any time.

Third-party processors

We use Resend for transactional email delivery, Cloudflare for spam protection (Turnstile) and content delivery, and Neon/Postgres for data storage. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@geekfolks.com.
